Used this one to experiment with nesting different picture planes inside each other as characters! The little guy in the Lady’s helmet is one, the Lady herself next, then the nerve/wire signals jumping from stacked-layered muscle filament to sail up spinal cable. Then the howling moons in the background, which is where the Lady comes from. But the little guy is from somewhere else, and he doesn’t know what he’s doing all the way up here in the bowl of the Lady’s faceplate.
Reports from overstimulated nerves make the long pilgrimage up to the cockpit, where the pilot recovers from pushing their craft into a standing position.
think this is a variant on the “alien in hoodie running away from group of conspiring people” image I came up with in freshman year of college.
But this time I know the subject is me, I guess. Last time this image surfaced in my work, the subject was running away. Here, it’s still bemused but no longer fearful.
Just taking in the scenery & traveling on in long stumbling steps.
