The little guy in the Lady\u2019s helmet is one, the Lady herself next, then the nerve\/wire signals jumping from stacked-layered muscle filament to sail up spinal cable. Then the howling moons in the background, which is where the Lady comes from. But the little guy is from somewhere else, and he doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s doing all the way up here in the bowl of the Lady\u2019s faceplate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports from overstimulated nerves make the long pilgrimage up to the cockpit, where the pilot recovers from pushing their craft into a standing position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">think this is a variant on the \u201calien in hoodie running away from group of conspiring people\u201d image I came up with in freshman year of college.<br>But this time I know the subject is me, I guess. Last time this image surfaced in my work, the subject was running away.
